Philodendron Erubescens ‘Birkin’ is an unstable variegated mutation of Philodendron Erubescens Rojo Congo. Birkin has gorgeous dark green leaves, variegated with light yellow to cream lines and will grow in a compact shape. It is an easy to care for, but slow growing houseplant. As the variegation on this plant is unstable, there will always be a chance of it reverting back to its green ‘rojo congo’ state.

Light

This plant loves a bright space with indirect light. They will, however, tolerate lower light spaces.

Watering

The Birkin prefers to be kept moist but cut back on the watering intervals in the winter months. Both underwatering and overwatering can trigger the Philodendron Birkin reverting
