Alocasia Black Velvet

Description

Alocasia Black Velvet is aptly named with fuzzy leaves that start out light green and then turn to a deep emerald, almost black, colour.

Light

This plant enjoys bright indirect light. Do not expose to direct sunlight or the leaves may burn. Black Velvets grow faster in warmer temperatures and dislikes cold drafts.

Watering

Black Velvets need well-draining soil. Allow the top few centimeters of soil to dry out before watering.
